Shell Pink 01 - Square 28

A pale, cool pink drawn from the exhaust baths of madder and cochineal. The two residual colours meet in a soft blush—warmer than cochineal alone, but cooler and pinker than an exhausted madder bath.

Built from colour remaining after earlier dyeing, Shell Pink 01 captures the quieter end of both dyes: a restrained wash of rose with subtle variations across the silk.
