Persimmon 01 - Square 20

A warm, burnished tan built through repeated layers of kakishibu, a fermented persimmon dye that deepens through oxidation and exposure to light. As the colour develops, the silk takes on a dry, leather-like hand and a more sculptural quality, holding shape and folds differently from untreated silk.
